History and Mission

Gary Radelat CPA, LLC was founded in 1973 and is based in Metairie, LA, servicing clients in a wide surrounding area. We believe that teamwork pays off, which is why we get to know each of our clients and their businesses. Where other firms work to gain a quantity of business, we strive to provide the very best in quality, helpful services to each of our clients. We excel in helping them to better understand their business, monitor it and grow it, all while helping them to minimize taxes. Our personal income tax clients understand and appreciate doing business with someone who cares about them and saving their tax collars. We are passionate about our work, but always friendly and professional with our clients.

GARY RADELAT, SR.

Gary Radelat, Sr. is the founder of Gary Radelat CPA, LLC and a partner with his son, Gary Radelat, Jr. He graduated cum laudi from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1971 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1973.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants.

His areas of practice include accounting, taxes, management consulting and financial planning for businesses and individuals. In servicing small, medium and large businesses for over forty years, Mr. Radelat has placed particular focus on using financial data not just for taxes but also as management tools to help make his clients more profitable. His expertise in tax knowledge has saved his clients untold amounts of tax and he completes his unique approach by helping them with good financial plans for both creating and preserving wealth.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and traveling.

GARY RADELAT, JR

A native of New Orleans, Gary Jr. graduated from Jesuit High School prior to attaining a Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of New Orleans and becoming a Certified Public Accountant in 2006. Gary Jr. has been with the firm for nearly twenty years and became partner in 2006.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants.

His areas of practice include accounting, taxes, management consulting and financial planning for businesses and individuals. His unique approach and vision has helped guide countless clients in the right financial directions, all while helping to minimize taxes. His client base is extensive, and he will soon become the managing partner at the firm.

He and his wife, Rachele, have two sons: Chase and Coty. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and playing golf.

DARLENE RADELAT

Darlene is the wife of Gary Radelat, Sr. and has been his office manager since he started in business. She also does accounting and tax work. Her unique skills in knowing and dealing with our clients has been invaluable to our firm.
